The Richland County TB and Public Health Office is proud to support prevention and recovery efforts in partnership with our local Recovery Oriented Systems of Care (ROSC) initiative. Through this collaborative approach, we work with community partners, healthcare providers, and individuals with lived experience to strengthen recovery support across our county.
We offer education, outreach, and connections to resources for substance use, mental health, and overall wellness. Our goal is to reduce stigma, remove barriers to care, and ensure individuals and families have access to the support they need at every stage of recovery.

OVERDOSE PREVENTION SERVICES :
NARCAN & FENTANYL TEST STRIPS :
Richland County TB and Public Health Office has partnered with the Egyptian County Health Department to provide free naloxone (Narcan) and fentanyl test strips to our community.
Fentanyl test strips allow individuals to test substances for the presence of fentanyl, a powerful opioid that is often found in drugs without a person’s knowledge. While test strips do not make substance use safe, they are an important tool to help individuals make informed decisions and reduce the risk of overdose.
We also provide opioid overdose education and distribute naloxone (Narcan) to individuals 18 years and older. Naloxone is a lifesaving medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose.
